USA: I would say that in high school art education is good but in college it gets better because the student is interested in the subject. I would say for popularity it would go art, theater, and music. Unfortunately it takes a while for some people to realize that they don’t have the talent, but I understand that because of literature, arts, so forth the emphasis on the US is here but in math and science we really fall behind in the world.

Question by Alex S: How important is each religion in Guatemala? How will religious practices have an effect on marketing?
I have found the major religions in Guatemala include Roman Catholic(50-60%) and Protestant(40%). There is also a small percentage of traditional Mayan religions, although I am more concerned about the most popular religions.
To be more specific I am wondering what religion and religious practices might have on marketing a new product in Guatemala and the steps a company might have to take in order to overcome these obstacles.

Question by Wandering Stranger: How important is it for a religion to proclaim it is a Christian religion for that religion to be a success?
By “success” I mean, to have more converts. Why do a lot of Christian sects try to proclaim other Christian religions to be non-Christian religions? How important is the label “Christian” to their own religion’s success?
@Cthulhu:
Thank you for your reply but I have to re-post this question since it seems it has been buried by other questions.

Well considering that Islam is the fastest growing religion, I would say that the “Christian” label is starting to become irrelevant.

Question by Spiral: How important is self-improvement and how does your religion (or lack of) contribute to it?
Do you view too much self-improvement and individualism as selfish or “secular”? If so what would you much rather do?

How does your religion or lack of contribute to your views on that (if at all)?

Best answer:

Answer by Lakely
Many “religious” think of self-improvement as secular, but on the other hand, the Gospel that Jesus was preaching was all about how we must change (Sermon on the Mount)

This whole idea of change was derailed by the Pauline gospel that “Christ died for our sins,” which Jesus never taught. More on my bio.

So self -improvement should be at the CENTER of it, and of course should be expected in a real religion. I think churches are way off on that one.

Thanks for bringing it up.
